How does Duplicate Photo Cleaner find duplicates?

The app uses perceptual hashing to compare photos visually. It identifies duplicates and similar photos even if they have different file sizes or formats. All analysis happens on your device.

Is my photo data safe?

Yes. 100% of the photo analysis is performed locally on your device. No photos or personal data are ever uploaded to any server.

What happens when I delete photos?

Deleted photos are moved to your device's "Recently Deleted" album, where they remain for 30 days before being permanently removed. You can recover them at any time during this period.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open the app, go to Settings, and tap "Upgrade to Premium". Then tap "Restore Purchase" at the bottom of the paywall screen. Your lifetime purchase will be restored automatically.

I was charged but the premium features are not unlocked.

Try tapping "Restore Purchase" in the paywall or Settings page. If the issue persists, please contact us with your Apple receipt and we will resolve it promptly.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. The app does not require an internet connection. All features work entirely offline.
