Mindscape ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Mindscape application (the "App").

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Mindscape is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect any of the following:

• Account credentials (no account creation required)

• Device identifiers or advertising IDs

3. Local Data Storage

All data generated by your use of the App is stored locally on your device only. This includes:

• Meditation session history — session duration, mode, and timestamps
• App preferences — your selected mode, duration, and settings

This data is never transmitted to any server. It remains solely on your device and is automatically deleted if you uninstall the App.

4. Audio Playback

Mindscape uses ambient sound files that are bundled within the App. All audio content is played locally and does not require an internet connection. No audio data is transmitted externally.

5. Background Audio

The App requests permission to play audio in the background so that meditation sessions continue when your device screen is locked. This audio permission is used solely for playback and does not involve any data collection.

6. Third-Party Services

Mindscape does not integrate any third-party services, including but not limited to:

• Analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase)
• Advertising networks
• Crash reporting tools
• Social media SDKs
• Cloud storage services

7. In-App Purchases

Mindscape V1.0 is free to use and does not offer any in-app purchases. If this changes in future versions, purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's privacy policies. We do not have access to your payment information.

8. Children's Privacy

Mindscape does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any data, the App is safe for users of all ages.

9. Data Security

Since Mindscape does not collect or transmit any data, there is no risk of data breaches from our side. All locally stored session data benefits from your device's built-in security features, including encryption at rest (when a passcode is set).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
