Popout ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.
We do not collect any personal information.
Popout is designed with privacy as a core principle. All image processing — including AI-powered subject segmentation, color palette generation, and image export — happens entirely on your device. Your photos never leave your device and are never transmitted to any server.
Popout requires access to your Photos library to:
We do not upload, share, or store your photos in any way. All operations are performed locally on your device.
Popout can read EXIF metadata embedded in your photos (such as GPS coordinates and capture date) to display location and date information on your creations. This data is processed entirely on your device. We use Apple's built-in reverse geocoding service to convert GPS coordinates to city names — this is a standard iOS system service that does not send data to our servers.
We do not collect, store, or transmit location data.
Popout does not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising services. There are no third-party SDKs, no crash reporting tools, and no advertising frameworks integrated into the app.
Popout is a free application. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or paid features.
Popout does not store any user data. No accounts are created, no user profiles are maintained, and no data is synced to any cloud service.
Popout uses the following Apple system frameworks, all of which operate on-device:
No third-party services or SDKs are used.
Popout does not collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for all ages.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
