Yes. SunSmart is completely free with no ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases.
Does the app collect my personal data?
No. SunSmart only uses your location to fetch weather data. Your city and skin type are stored locally on your device. No data is sent to third parties.
Is the UV data accurate?
SunSmart uses the Open-Meteo API, a widely-used open weather service. UV data is based on scientific models and is suitable for general guidance.
Can I use SunSmart without granting location access?
Yes. You can manually select a city from the built-in city list instead of using GPS location.
Does SunSmart replace medical advice?
No. SunSmart provides general UV and sun safety information for reference only. It does not constitute medical or dermatological advice.
